Corteqa provides in-depth neurodevelopmental services for adults, children and young people seeking assessment for ADHD, autism or a combined neurodevelopmental presentation such as AuDHD. Our approach considers the whole clinical and developmental picture rather than symptoms in isolation. For children, assessment includes detailed developmental history from parents or caregivers and, where appropriate, information from school or other professionals involved in their care. We also support patients following diagnosis with treatment planning, medication where clinically appropriate, and ongoing review.

3. What happens during and after an assessment?
Assessment begins before your main clinical appointment with questionnaires, structured measures and a detailed clinical interview. For children, additional time is allowed to obtain developmental history from parents or caregivers and, where appropriate, information from school or other professionals. The clinical team reviews and integrates the available information before reaching its conclusions. At the end of the assessment, we provide verbal feedback and, where diagnostic criteria are met, confirmation of the diagnosis. A comprehensive interpretative report and personalised recommendations follow within 10 working days. Where treatment is appropriate, we can then discuss and arrange the next stage of care.
Following assessment, Corteqa can advise on an individual treatment and management pathway where clinically appropriate. This may include ADHD medication, medication titration and monitoring, psychoeducation, psychological interventions and practical management strategies. Treatment is based on individual clinical need and is reviewed over time. With consent, we can also liaise with your GP or other professionals involved in your care.

Adults and children can be assessed online or in person, depending on clinical need and the assessment pathway. Secure questionnaires and clinical interviews allow information to be gathered in advance. Children’s assessments may also include parent or caregiver consultation and information from school or other professionals. We will explain the appropriate format when your assessment is arranged.

Payment is made securely once your assessment or treatment appointment has been confirmed. The relevant fee and what is included will be explained before you proceed. Where further treatment, medication reviews or follow-up appointments are recommended, any additional costs will be discussed with you in advance.

Our reports provide detailed clinical findings and recommendations that can help inform appropriate support in education, university and the workplace. For children and young people, recommendations may assist discussions with schools and other professionals about appropriate educational support and reasonable adjustments. For adults, reports may support discussions about workplace adjustments, Access to Work or educational support. Specific accommodations remain subject to the requirements and decisions of the relevant organisation.
